  1. We took a group of Scouts on a trip on the canal in DC - for the life of me I can't think of the name. Pulled by the mules. It was a great adventure and your picture brought back all those memories - except for the name of the canal, of course. What fun it was.

  2. John, your colors are so vivid and the lighting is perfect. It makes me think of a painting by Thomas Kincaid. It is a very peaceful scene, and I'd love to sit on the back of that canal.

    We remember the song -- I started signing it the moment I saw the post title.

    I wonder about the comment from "sbo." I recently got the identical comment on one of my posts.
