“Nature will bear the closest inspection. She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of its plain.”

  1. Wow! Great-looking macro!

If you visit my blog, you will see that I have moved. Please follow me to my new home!

  2. Now you've done it! I have to get into my macro lenses and extension tubes I bought (at a bargain last summer) and figure out how to use them. Then I gotta get into it and find just the right subjects. Actually, I have been experimenting a bit with some of our desert flowers, but the darn wind keeps moving the flowers.

Great picture, John. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Gossamer wings afloat on a verdant sea. Love this - great composition and angle on the shot.

  4. Fantastic!!! I am so wanting a macro lens to be able to attempt a shot like this!
    Well done!!

  5. Now if I were a bird....

    Nice shot...hairy legs. :)

  6. Wow that is fantastic. So delicate. Beautiful!
