I've only ever once seen a cedar waxwing and that was on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah NP; luckily he stayed on the branch long enough for me to get a good photo of him.
We see them occasionally at home in northern NY but here at Congaree, they are here in multitude. I didn't know until very recently that they tend to travel in larger groups.
They are indeed very beautiful! Always good to smile, even when not feeling like it. Of course if one is smiling and not feeling like it, then I guess one is wearing a mask.
I'm not wearing any kind of mask, I'm just happy today. :)
ReplyDeleteI love cedar waxwings. When in a group, they pass along their wealth...
Glad you had a good day Judy. I am with you, I think cedar waxwings are amazingly beautiful.

ReplyDeleteNo mask for me today. What you see is what you get! I'm smiling! : )
