    1. Hi Robbie. This was my first time knowingly seeing a Night Heron. I am not certain of this, but I think he is actually wearing a "breeding Plumage". Thanks for the nice comment.

    1. I don't know but I am sure glad he was there. Lucky for me he was very intent on eating and not paying much attention to the photographer.

    1. Hi Karen. The Night Heron is a beautiful bird and I feel very fortunate to catch him in a photo. As I mentioned above, I had not knowingly seen one before either.
