Splendid shot, John, and of course we are eager to see what's just over the crest of that rise and around the next bend in the road. The leaves in the roadway show that is not highly traveled, which make it even more inviting, because we'll have it all to ourselves, you two and we two!
Beautiful colors. I love it when the leaves are all over the ground. Makes me remember happy and carefree childhood days of shuffling through the fallen leaves and kicking them as walked along. When they got dry and crunchy, it was the "best." Great post title.
