Hi Pam. Thanks so much for the kind comment. From my perspective, the colorful shrimp boats did all of the work,I simply had to show up and shoot. Like you, I really enjoy taking photos of boats!
Growing up in Montana, I'm a beef person. Never did develop a taste for shrimp. But I married a VA guy who lives to eat seafood. So stupid question, how do you know they are shrimp boats and not fishing boats? Gorgeous picture once again.
Reminds me of the boats at Chincoteague ... still tied up in the early morning, with the glow of the rising sun painting them golden as they prepared to go out.

Thanks for visiting my Blog. I'm familiar with Darien. I've been there many times. There is a beautiful old Oak tree right there on the water front, It is huge.
I love the colors and the way the sun casts a bronze tone on the boats. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBut the question is: how good was the shrimp?
ReplyDeleteGreat pic on the calm seas.
Reminds me of the Texas coast near where my son lives in Seabrook.... I certainly do enjoy eating all of those shrimp... You????

This is a great photo -- I really like the color. The scene reminds me of Calabash, North Carolina.
ReplyDeleteI love scenes like this.. it takes me back to the small fishing town where I was born. The colors are stunning, John.
